Free keyboard, mouse, webcam and screen tests
A quick test can tell you whether a key is really dead, a mouse is double-clicking by itself, or a laptop camera works before an important call. It is also useful when you buy second-hand hardware or are deciding whether to return something.
Which tool do you need?
If a test shows a fault, try the device with another port or computer before you replace it. The speed tests in this group are mainly for fun, and they also give you a way to track your progress.

Questions
Why does my browser ask for camera or microphone access?
The test cannot read the device without your permission. The picture and sound are used only while the test runs, and nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.
The test shows a fault. What should I try next?
Try another port, browser or computer. If the fault follows the device, the hardware is probably at fault. If it stays with the computer, look at drivers and settings.
