Merge PDF
Combine a cover letter, a CV and certificates into one attachment. Merging runs on your device, which matters when the documents are personal.

How to use it
- Add two or more PDF files.
- Put them in order with the arrows.
- Press Merge PDFs to get the combined file.
Good to know
Links and form fields in the original files may not all survive merging. The pages themselves are copied exactly, so text stays selectable.
What survives a merge
| Kept | May be lost |
|---|---|
| Page content, exactly as it was | Bookmarks and the side outline |
| Selectable text and sharp images | Some links between documents |
| Each page's own size and orientation | Some interactive form fields |
Putting a document pack in the right order
People reading an application usually open the first page and skim from there, so put the most important document first. A common order for a job or visa pack is covering letter, CV or application form, then certificates, then supporting records. The arrows beside each file control the final order.
Practical tips
- The final file is about as big as the originals added together. If a portal has a limit, check its size before you upload it.
- To put a photo between two PDFs, turn it into a PDF with JPG to PDF, then add it to the list here.
- The result always downloads as merged.pdf, so rename it to something the recipient can identify.
- Password-protected PDFs need to be unlocked in the program that created them first.
Questions
Does merging reduce quality?
No. The pages are copied, not re-rendered.
Can I add a JPG between PDFs?
Convert it with JPG to PDF first, then merge.
