Good to know

Pages come out in the order you type them, so 5, 2 puts page 5 first. That also lets you reorder a short document.

How to write page ranges

You typeYou get
1-3Pages 1, 2 and 3
1-3, 7Pages 1, 2, 3 and 7
10-12, 2Pages 10, 11, 12, then 2
5, 2Page 5 first, then page 2

One file or many

  • One PDF keeps your selection together, ideal for sending a single section.
  • One PDF per page gives you a ZIP, with each file named after its original page number.
  • To split a whole document, enter the full range, such as 1-40.

What stays the same

Pages are copied rather than re-rendered, so text stays selectable and images keep their quality. Bookmarks that pointed to other pages are not carried over. The original file is not changed, and PDFs protected by an opening password need to be unlocked first.
