PDF to JPG
Need a page as a picture for a slide, a post or a form that only accepts images? Every page becomes its own JPG.

How to use it
- Choose a resolution. 144 DPI is fine for screens and 300 DPI for print.
- Add your PDF.
- Download single pages or the whole ZIP.
Good to know
Higher DPI means sharper text and much larger files. A long document at 300 DPI can use a lot of memory on a phone.
Which resolution to choose
The pixel sizes below are for an A4 page. A larger DPI makes small text crisper, but file size climbs quickly.
| Setting | A4 page in pixels | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| 90 DPI | 744 × 1052 | Previews and thumbnails |
| 144 DPI | 1191 × 1684 | Screens, slides and messaging |
| 225 DPI | 1860 × 2631 | Documents with small print |
| 300 DPI | 2480 × 3508 | Printing |
What happens to your document
- Each page becomes a separate JPG at 92% quality, named after the file and its page number.
- You can add several PDFs at once, and download everything in a single ZIP.
- Text becomes part of the picture, so it can no longer be selected. Use PDF to Text if you need the words themselves.
- Links stop working, as an image cannot carry them.
Handling long or awkward files
A long document at 300 DPI can use more memory than a phone has to spare. Lower the resolution, or use Extract PDF Pages to keep only the pages you need. PDFs that need a password to open must be unlocked in the program that created them first.
Questions
Can I convert only some pages?
Use Extract PDF Pages first, then convert the shorter file.
Do you support protected PDFs?
Files that need a password to open cannot be read here.
